Scanning & Cropping Out Text in One Step

I've been ask a number of times by customers, "How to I scan a picture from a magazine article, and get rid of all of the text so I just copy the picture?"

Well, outside of using photo editing software, here's an easy way to accomplish this task if you're using an HP scanner:

Resizing Your Digital Photos

The new digital cameras are great! The image quality from the 7+ megapixel cameras is really sharp, but have you looked at the jpeg file sizes? Most of the file sizes are 2+ megabytes in size. Depending on the capacity of someone's email-box, mailing several of them could fill it right up.
